About Our Fig Cuttings
Each quality cutting is about the thickness of a fine-point "Sharpie" marker (3/8"), or larger, a minimum of 3 nodes, 7-12" long.
- Our fig trees are grown in ground or in very large containers to ensure solid growth.
- Our fertilization program is designed for quality growth over quantity.
- We select only high-quality cuttings from our fig trees.
- Standard cuttings will usually be about the thickness of a fine-point “Sharpie” marker (3/8″ diameter), sometimes thicker but rarely thinner, and from 7-12″ long, with at least 3 nodes.
- We thoroughly clean the cuttings (some cuttings may appear dirty from staining).
- We sanitize the cuttings to help reduce the risk of mold.
- Cuttings are individually marked with the variety name to ensure no mix-ups.
- We professionally package the cuttings to maintain freshness.
- Cuttings are shipped via USPS Priority Mail to ensure freshness.
