Black Madeira (UCD/USDA)

We have grown both the UCD and KK strains of Black Madeira for years, and though the KK version (also from UCD) is often thought to be a superior strain, we can tell absolutely no difference between the two. So we have culled the UCD strain and saved what is perceived to be the superior KK variety.

Though not generally recognized as producing a breba crop, our Black Madeira (UCD) actually produced a nice batch of brebas in 2022.
