Magnolia

We have culled this variety. This has not really been one of our favorite figs, yet others seem to highly value it. This may be because it does not handle the rain well and would do better in drier climates. Though the figs are large, so is the ostiole. And as with the other Brunswick varieties we have trialed, the flavor is bland. If one values large figs, Longue d’Aout is a much better choice.
