LSU O’Rourke is a productive brown sugar fig variety, the second earliest ripening LSU cultivar after Improved Celeste. Ripens with the Mt Etnas. Strong smooth brown skin with some maroon.
Though O’Rourke is considered by some to have a tight 2-week window for ripening the main crop, our mother tree produces small to medium-sized figs in waves throughout the summer and early fall.
