Description
A highly-rated premium variety from the Monserrat Pons fig collection. It has many excellent qualities that quickly made it one of my favorites. It’s common, small to tight ostiole, very short hang time, can ripen in cooler weather, and the flavor is phenomenal: very exotic, comparable to Black Madeira, but slightly more acidic. Similar to Col de Dame de Ciutat and Chetoui. This is just a wonderful variety, but somewhat on the later side.
